Tequila Cocktails, Shots, Flights and Bites

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 oz Arrogante Blanco Tequila
  • 1 Small Sprig of Fresh Rosemary
  • 0.5 oz Pomegranate Juice (Bottled)
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.25 oz Cointreau Orange Liqueur
  • 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
  • Garnish: Rosemary Sprig
  • PREPARATION:

    In a Boston shaker, lightly muddle one small sprig of fresh rosemary and simple syrup to release rosemary's essential oils.

    Add Arrogante Blanco tequila, pomegranate juice, freshly squeezed lime juice and Cointreau orange liqueur. Triple Sec can be substituted for Cointreau, however the latter offer the best combination of bitter orange flavors and sweetness. Top the shaker with a handful of ice chunks and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.

    Strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer into a highball glass filled with large pieces of ice.

    Garnish the drink with one small sprig of fresh rosemary.
