Tequila Cocktails, Shots, Flights and Bites

GOING GREEN

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz Arrogante Anejo Tequila
  • 4 oz Simply Lemonade
  • 2 - 3 Sprigs of Fresh Cilantro
  • 4 - 5 Thin Slices of Cucumber
  • Rim: 1 Lime Wedge and 1 Tbsp Turbinado Sugar
  • Garnish: 1 Sprig of Thai Basil
  • PREPARATION:

    Use a lime wedge to wet the outside rim of a tall collins glass. Spread turbinado sugar on a plate and roll the wet rim of the glass in the sugar to coat the edges. Fill the glass with large chunks of ice.

    In a mixing glass, muddle together 2 or 3 sprigs of cilantro and 4 to 5 slices of cucumber. Then add Simply Lemonade and Arrogante Anejo tequila. Stir well to combine the ingredients.

    Strain the cocktail into the prepared collins glass through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp and cucumber seeds. Garnish the cocktail with one small sprig of Thai basil.
